Being listed in a directory such as Yahoo is a good thing in terms of Search Engine Optimization. I think paying the price is worth it.

You're not guaranteed to get listed in there though so I'd recommend DMOZ.

Well...Why do we want to try if we arent sure that we wont be included?

We must go through their TOS and etc. so that we dun violate their terms and then, I think we will be included

If you have a VAR business or any on line business selling goods, i recommend you get listed in yahoo directory ASAP, as it will help you soooo much i cannot stress this. I use to have an MP3 business, after getting listed in yahoo dir. our hits th rippled, so yes its a great idea to get listed.
