Default Yahoo suggest to update to IE 7

Today I got ad ad on search.yahoo.com.
Yahoo suggests me to upgrade to Internet Explorer 7.

http://downloads.yahoo.com/internetexplorer/index.php

Is it new?

Before to update I would like to get an opinion here...

This is very very very old news. IE7 has been out for so long. If you're still using IE6, then I'm sorry for that and apologize that you are out of the loop. You should update immediately. The difference is amazing. I still do not like IE7, but nonetheless.

Apparently, Yahoo and Microsoft forged an alliance. One indication is the interconnection of Yahoo's YM and MSN's messenger. If you notice Yahoo also has been actively promoting Microsoft's new OS called Vista aside from IE 7.

I'm guessing Yahoo received a big check in the post from Microsoft

I really don't like IE7 the tools are hard to use. But back on topic, um yeah yahoo and microsoft do seem to be forming some type of an alliance, and together, the power is kind of scary, because if they dominate in every aspect of the web, they can charge ridiculous prices for things, and it would be like making the rich richer and the poor poorer.

i suggest you to switch to mozilla , it is much faster and much reliable than anything else on the market right now and is free.
IE is old story, mate.

It's not surprising to see Google and Firefox's match being rivalled by Microsoft and Yahoo. I would put good money on it being an allegiance proposed by Yahoo and not Microsoft though.
