They are not really surprising aren't they ? In fact it is very predictable and boring. What was in the medias was in the net, too.

Predictable indeed, though astonishingly there are few if any terms in there that I have personally used - perhaps I'm just boring and my tastes are largely out of fashion!

I tend to use search engines for research purposes more than anything so I suppose I seldom stick in a celebrity name or sports team.

I doubt next years top search terms will be much different...

Good thoughts Cobalt. What came to my mind when i read your post was the following. The searched words were all very mainstream like the celebrities names. Most of the people searching for those words are not real net experts like all the kids. So they need help finding it. Moreover the offer of Paris Hilton ( for example ) news and content is giant. Maybe there is too much and they can not decide where to go first.

welll i would not be pleased by not crediting adsense work
atleast he has shared his terrific views with us good job adsense and though we all know that they are boring but still we need to keep working and find some thing diffferent

It was not on the end of the Britney spears grab the top position, from the year beginning itself she was enjoying that position!
