Do you guys pay to be listed in Yahoo directory? I know someone who's sites are banned from the yahoo search but bought a listing in yahoo directory. Surprisingly, yahoo directory is his second top referring site. I guess that makes it worth paying $200.

No I am not listed in the Yahoo directory yet.I do not see the use of getting into the directory while I am getting a lot of decent traffic from Google.

i think its better to rely on google that to yahoo especially on this arena any wyas i agree everybody has their own review

The only plus point which yahoo directory has is that It provides traffic otherwise you can get many strong backlinks for 200$ from directories which are capable of passing on the Page Ranking .

Yahoo directory.i haven't use it .maybe in last year ,i will have a try.

Yahoo Directory can provide good traffic and not just back links. And I think traffic is very important as it's the reason for all our hard work.

I wouldn't waste so much money on something like that, especially because you're not guaranteed to get listed and don't get your money back if you aren't.

I thought it was $300/year. I could be wrong but Yahoo directory has a lot of good Page Ranking inner pages. Can boost your PR status later. It's expensive but thousands have spent money to get into it, of course, I never would.
