Default flash sites

Well, i already know that flash sites gain very poor results. But are there any possibilities to sidestep this situation ? I really would appreciate your hints and tips.

It's very difficult if you run a whole site via Flash as the content is not crawlable and therefore cannot be indexed by search engines.

The best you can hope for is to make use of Meta tags, invest heavily in quality backlinks and buy advertising to get your traffic up. That is why I will never have an entirely flash-based website.

Many sites have a static alternative, and whilst it's not as good looking, search engines are much happier and will index your pages. The only problem is you've then got to develop a second website, but that is often a small price to pay if the end result is to get indexed and some form of organic SE traffic.

Thank you very much for your help. My intention was not to make a whole site via Flash, since i know about that problem. But if it is really that unfavourable i guess i will completely do it without flash.

There is no reason you can't use Flash headers or even a navigation as long as you have a text-based version along the bottom of your site or something for Search Engine Optimization purposes.

Flash looks great, but used over-zealously can damage the reputation of the site, make it impossible for search engines to crawl and be a real pain to navigate. As with anything, Flash is acceptible - in moderation.
