Default PayPal -> E-Gold

Well, a while ago attempted to set up an E-Gold account, which is when I noticed that it's somewhat of a hassle to go from PayPal to E-Gold without having to pay a ridiculous charge. So, I was curious about how everyone else funded their E-Gold account. Alternatives to funding it with PayPal are most welcome, too.

I think if you are trying to switch one to another I really see no purpose as they both can do the same thing for you. If you already have paypal I don't see the rush to run to E-Gold at all unless you have certain clients that can only accept E-Gold and it would bring up your marketing in it. If not really there is a charge that be the way of the internet and if it is not worth it to you to pay that % they will charge you. Then you really shouldn't be doing it.

I don't have eGold. I stick with PayPal and if I do transactions over $500 I use Escrow.

Withdraw it from paypal and have it sent in a check. Then fund e-gold from a credits card or your back account.

I don't think E-Gold is a good processor. It's quite a bit of work to acquire gold.

Exactly, its huge mess, I opened e-gold account long ago, but the whole funding process was so cumbersome that finally I quite, and now stick to my Paypal.

Well its like that because paypal does not allow this type of exchange so the people who are providing this service are making use of this to their profit. I personally use e-gold myself.
