I think that people who are doing this are the same as thieves. Don't forget that there are many small companies out there who are struggling to get by and are using Adsense for marketing purposes. These companies can not afford to have people cheating them by clicking on their ads so as to increase their own revenue.

Valid point. I personally don't do it. I probably would though if the price was right, to be perfectly honest.

i think nowbody would aknowledge here that they were cheating, so not a good try. However if you are really interested, you can read on dp some stories of this kind of click exchange traffic, and te results that it gave-500 dollars per month and not being caught.

I've always been too nervous to click my own ads. Plus I would feel terrible if i stole $500 in one month

I got cicked out of an advertising nettowork for clicking my own ads once. I clicked three ads, and got kicked out, but I sent them a mail and told them anout the situation, and they person I spoke to was very nice and let me back in.

I think it was obeus or something...

Well, why would you click your own ads? That many times usually doesn't mean "mistake" to a lot of people.
