Default Paid based on searches - does this still exist?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

A few years back one of the major engines offered you a couple cents based on searches which originated off your website.

Ie: you have a travel site and someone types in "Hotels Vegas" in your search engine and a bunch of paid links come up. Just based on the search you made yourself a few cents.

I get a lot of searches originating off one of my websites - so I'd like to find something along these lines.

You can install a Google search bar and get paid when visitors use it via Adsense.

Hey Lenny,

Does the site owner get paid just on the fact that the person searched? Or is it that they search and then click specific paid ads?

Thanks in advance.

In google adsense they pay only after you search and then click on an sponsor ad.

Sort of I suppose. That site seems like an excuse just to show a bunch of unrelated advertisements to be honest. Looking for something that won't turn off my visitors when they use it.

Yeah, if anyone knows of anyone who provides a CPM on just raw searches, please come forward. I can most certainly think of a few places where it'd be quite useful.

I have found a place that pays you for you using it if you'd be interesting in that sort of thing. I've forgotten the name of it, but I can go find it again if you want.

Yes google pays for searches made via your website. The main problem is they pay so little and no one search the web via your website.
