About PPC search engines -- I like that they bring traffic, I dislike that it costs money lol.
About PPC review sites, Are those the sites that give reviews about the PPC programs? Then it differs because you can see a lot of points of views. Can be good and bad at the same time.

I've tried maybe a good 50 PPC's and I can say only the majors are any good.
Stick with Yahoo, Google and MSN. May be very expensive but paying $3 a click for quality is better than paying $0.05 for nothing.

As a publisher, I like PPC because it does not count as an outbound link but I get less than fixed price advertising because only clicks count and not impressions.

But does it work? I mean they are not bringing so much traffic nowadays. Sometimes it feels like we are paying more than actually earning.

they are the internet engine and pay so to speak for a lot of websites. If it were not for ppc advertising i guess you would see a significant decrease in the number of sites, as people would have not find other motivation to publish.
