I seond the adsense recommendation. The reason many people feel they 'don't work' is because they pick the wrong keywords. Some careful research into keywords people actually use, and a bit of patience with bidding can produce good results.

Well the topic shouldnt really be in this board but adwords work more than the yahoo thing, they have more users and searchers than yahoo, and they target ads unlike yahoo lol

You can get good traffic to your website by the key words you are giving and also the material in your site should be relevant and should not give irrelevant information.You should work a little bit to get to the keywords and you can surely increase the page rank through it.

adwords works good , also some posts from highly read blogs like shoemoney will bring you a lot of traffic, hmm.. anything else, yes, publicity on youtube can get you some real traffic as well, and free press release.
