I weigh things out differently now. 'Ive run other peoples businesses, as well as my own "Brick and Mortar" businesses.
Days have changed since the end of the 80's when email became mainstream and suddenly opened broader new business boundaries.
Example : Connecting with suppliers in China sending an email delivered at the speed of a click. Suddenly Courier needs lessened worldwide.
Now i collaborate online worldwide with my clients - sales team - staff all within one WebBased system that i can log into from home/office/golf course, all on my laptop or iphone.. Brilliant!!
I use OfficeSharepoint.com
oh and for phone Voxcent.com
I could go on and on....
Long and short is the larger more profitable part of my business today is Online. Once it's built - it's built. Then just like any business - good advertising and good service will prevail.
