I have been told so often that PRs are updated around every 3 months , but I have seen forums with very good content getting PRs even before three months.Now this is possible if the last update was somewhere in the last three months before their inception date. So, my question : Is it really verified that Googlecomes up with Page Ranking updates every 3 months . If not, then what's the correct duration and if yes, then how to verify it ?

I have heard every 3 months. Here is my thinking for those site you mentioned. They created their forum/site maybe a month before the page rank was ready t be updated. They then paid a lot of money to have their information rushed and put into google. Doing it that way would allow them to get past the 3 month wait.

No website is more special than another to Google. All websites get updated at once. You can't pay off someone from Google to update your website before someone else's. If you did, they would no longer be working for Google. No Google employee is allowed to accept any gifts/bribes of any kine.

That is not what I meant. I will try to explain in a better way. Let's say the 3 month update was set for November. I was saying that website could of been created in October. Then there are always all of these websites out there that promise to get your stuff submitted to google within 24 hours, a week, etc etc. If they were to use one of those websites then they could get all the info needed to google before the update in a month. That way they get a high page rank within a month.

It could be possible that they launched their website one month before the update was out and got a Page Ranking one month before the PR was out ,but if I am understanding right ,then that way different websites would get the PR updates at different times .Does that happen ? I still don't know. I don't think Google wants it to be public because then there would be more PRs gained through purchased backlinks than there are at present.

That's the point though. It's not black, it's not even gray. If someone is interested in the creation date of a website to see if the Page Ranking is legitimate, etc. then there are simple ways of getting to this.
