I guess that really depends on when you cash out - whether or not you save for a specific amount over the $100.

Personally, I would never leave it too long as Google do have a bit of a history with suspensions etc.

Usually, once you have earned your first $100 you can be sure that you have been checked out by Google and you have got into their good books. My second month after I made it to $100 was far more rewarding than my journey to $100 which took ages , but if you enter the right niches and have good traffic on good content sites ,then it won't take long.
