I dont think there is anything wrong with paid links.It is a way for webmasters to earn some money to overcome server and other costs.

In that case, I didn't know that. Why should that be illegal? It's a good way for admins to earn some extra cash... I'we seen plenty of sites selling text links.... Big sites with thousands of visitors a day. Sites witch all uses Google adSense...

I'm unsure on the details, but I can assure anyone wondering-If there is a violation of any TOS of any big company such as Google, some action will be taken.
If there was no action taken, people would take the incident for granted and do it themselves, leading down a slope to many people violating the TOS.
