I am really worried this up coming Page Ranking update. I have a few one way back links but most of my other links are link exchanges. Do you think this will also generate a good PR for me?

Link exchanges do benefit but less. You should try this way while participating in a link exchange.

You have site A and B
The other person has site C and D

You give him a link on A site for his C site
He gives you a link on his D site for your B site.

That way you both will benefit

I do link exchanges but I advice you to get more one way links as they add more value in Search Engine Optimization than in reciprocal links.
