Hi guys, one of the most spread method nowadays to get traffic to new sites is the so called "youtube advertisement ". Basically it consists of creating videos, personalize them by adding your url written at the beginning or at the end oe even in the middle of the video, and after that uploading the video to youtube, where it can reach a very high audience; assuming that around 200 000 people see your video in the first week, and 1% of them actually come to your site, this mean a spike of traffic consisting in 2000 uniques visitors, almost 10 000 impressions.

It's a good way to get traffic. I've gotten great traffic this way.

I personally hate when videos I want to watch have URLs on them though. I never visit them.

It's an idea. I'd do it as part of the credits or something, I would never interrupt the video with an advertisement. Maybe even some clever product placement.

This works if you have an interesting video clip. However this will also backfire if it looks like a video spam. Make sure you have a good product or service to offer.

eh lol.. that's quite true. i too hate video with links on it. bugger i say. u could also do this. post that youtube video on ur web. back on youtube it will show your blog/ site backlink those video

actually most of the sites that do this are crap, usually mysite.blogspot.com or this kind of people who can not afford even to buy a domain, but i remember that shoemoney blogged about such a video which got around 200 000 views in the first week and there was a rate of 90 percent of people visiting the site.

Ya its well known to me and i am also doing the same.Actually i am getting traffic also from social network .People can get traffic place where lots of people use to visit.Youtube is one the highly dense area in the internet.
