Default Investment On Your Website

How much money do you guys spend on your websites every month for link building, traffic, PPC advertising, link buying, content creation etc. I am trying to decide if I am spending too much or too less on promotion of my websites. Thanks for answers.

Per month? Usually around $40-$50. I try to keep costs low. I write a lot of my own articles and I don't use PPC too much. Try diggXchange :: Exchange Diggs to Promote Your Website and stumbleXchange :: Exchange Stumbles to Promote Your Website for free traffic.

Myself it varies, sometimes i get really enthusiastic and splash out 100-200 Euro but then i may go months without spending anything. In that way it kind of evens things out though

After reading this thread, I think it's great not having a website by that way I can spend all money I make in stuff I like. You guys spend too much in your websites in my opinion, I don't know if I'm willing to spend such money for a website.

It varies on niche of website. I have few forums for which I spend $100+ every month on promotion and I have few fansites for which I spend around $10 per month.

I don't spend a penny. I like to go with free services such as link exchanges.

The only money I spend on my sites is the domains and hosting. There's plenty of easy ways to promote sites without paying. Especially with video type sites. You can use video dump sites which will get you plenty of traffic.

Once I start making more money I may consider spending some money but until then I'm being cheap.

Honestly, none. For Waffles Radio I'll write about other people's sites and hope that I get a link back. That's really the extent of my online advertising except for forum signatures.
