What is the best strategy that has so far worked in marketing you sites? Did you have to spend a lot of money to implement it?

it depends what type of site you have in my opinion, say if you have an e commerce. i think adwords and ppc advertising can be beneficial, ie you pay 50cent for that click but they buy something of value of $100+ easy way to make money thats in theory tho

Only if it was that simple to make money online. From what i've seen, people who jump into spending money on advertisement without help from someone that knows how the internet marketing industry works usually lose money before they make their first sale.

When I first considered buying PPC this is the strategy I went with.

Go to a search engine and type out the words you believe potential customers would type in. Some search engines (findwhat being one) used to actually display how much the clicks cost under each link.

I'd find a competitor and basically find simiilar terms must with easy mis-spellings. I got a fair bit of traffic that cost next to nothing because of the spelling error.

The best strategy for me is the unique content. It always give me better SERPs even if I dont pay much attention on link building and other optimization techniques. Forum signature marketing is another free way of promoting your sites.

Get great content and get good with PPC. If you're good with Adwords and can get a decent conversion rate for whatever you're selling (affiliate or otherwise) you can get a cash-creating machine on auto pilot.

For getting PageRank, buying text links from related high Page Ranking websites have worked for me and for traffic purpose, PPC advertising (Adwords) have worked the best so far.
