How was your experience in acquiring an abandoned domain name with a decent traffic? Is is worth the effort in scouting for one instead of purchasing a domain name without a traffic at all?

If it has Page Ranking or is a .com and has good keywords in the domain name itself, it's worth it in my opinion.

Yup, if it has some traffic it's definitely worth it. And if it has Page Ranking then all the more better. Usually means it might have some backlinks still out there which will help you.
