Default Why DMOZ so important ?
have seen so many people running behind it and trying to get a link in Dmoz.

I would like to ask , why is DMOZ considered so important and why everyone just wants a link it . Does ot give more boost for the Page Ranking

A lot of people said it didn't help their Page Ranking or traffic so I honestly don't know why people were so crazy about it.

Dmoz is considered a valuable asset because it follows good ethics in carefully reviewing and assessing the sites before adding it to its database.

Thats all it takes.
