I submit it and just wait. It's pretty simple to submit a site but it takes a while to actually get listed because the lack of editors.

Go to DMOZ.org and find your category. Hit the "Suggest a URL" button and fill out the information. Some categories do not have "suggest URL" or "update URL" links. These categories don't accept submissions, so you should find a more specific category for your site.

Once submitted, be patient.

Yikes, well at least I'm signed in. I'm getting responses back from a lot of other directories I submitted myself to though.

When you are talking about the DMOZ , just follow the rule " Submit and Forget " cos it takes hell lot of time for DMOZ editors to review the site and make a repy whether the site is approved or rejected .

I know people whom have waited for two years for so much as a response, so don't count on getting in quickly.

Default Some tips

To get into dmoz

Follow the guidelines to a tee.
Submit ONCE and only ONCE else the editors will more than likely throw your site out for the hell of it. No one likes a directory spammer.
And finally wait and wait and probably wait a bit more. Patience is a virtue when it comes to getting a dmoz listing.

I had one site listed in 3 weeks, another in 9 months and most never listed.
