A lot of webmasters have been dieing to have their websites listed in DOMZ. But is it really worth being listed in DMOZ?

I think a DMOZ listing is only worth in terms of Page Ranking. I doubt it if DMOZ can send a good amount of traffic to my site.

There was a Time when DMOZ was reallyy great . Its still worthed to get into dmoz but you need to wait tooooooo long to get listed and now there are many strong directories available < paid and free > and its kinda easy to get listed in them .
So,instead of waiting to get listed in dmoz , I go for other well established web directoris available .But , dmoz is worthed

yeah .. Its worthed being listed in DMOZ bcos of the Page Ranking and some traffic aswell but it takes t000000 much of time to get approved and now there are already lots of good directories .

To be honest. If I find a domain that I can purchase, and it is listed in DMOZ I would prefer to take it opposed to sites not listed in DMOZ. The traffic is natural, the through traffic has to be better than that of a site without the DMOZ listing.
