When i went into business for myself i had been working full time for a business for some time. I gradually built up the items that i needed for my own venture over time and then after about 2 to 3 years i approached my employer about working a 4 day week this then gave me a day to build up my own idea before eventually striking out on my own. Banks are more than happy to provide you with loans, but with this comes a lot of pressure that really isnt very pleasant when things get tough. It is sometimes easier talking to family members to find out if they will help fund your project or depending where you are there may be funding for new business in your area..
