I like how Yahoo Mail uses tabs when viewing messages. You can open multiple messages and they open as tabs across the top of the page. It will also open your searches as tabs. This makes it real easy to click back to a previously viewed message or search.
I also like how Yahoo Mail acts more like an email fat client and not so much a web client. You can interact with your messages much like you would in Outlook or any other installed email client. You can hold down shift or ctrl and select multiple emails that you wish to perform an action on, such as delete. You can also right click on a message and choose the actions you wish to perform, such as Open, Print, Reply, Forward, Mark as Read/Unread, Delete, Mark as Spam, Add sender to contacts, view full headers, as well as other options.
I have not seen any of these options in gmail as gmail acts more as a webpage and not an email client. Can these features be enabled in gmail?
For those of you that say you prefer gmail over yahoo mail, are you comparing to the old or new version of yahoo?
