Rogers Steel Company is a ten month old manufacturer of steel and aluminum products. The company produces made to order and one-of-a kind items as well as standard products, such as utility trailers and pontoon boat trailers, made to sell through dealers and to end users. See
www.rogerssteel.com and
www.gamedaytrailers.com.
The company also produces structural steel components for building construction, and a variety of trailer repair services. The majority of work is accomplished by welding, and the company uses both manual and robotic welding (2 industrial robot welders.)
The company is presently housed in owned facilities in Lexington County outside of Columbia and Lexington, SC, and is in the process of selling the property in order to move closer to the Columbia interstate system.
Equity funding is needed for:
* Reducing company debt and providing operating capital
* Setting up production for two new products for a new customer
* Improving buying power for reduced cost of goods sold (through better volume purchase discounts.)
* Marketing of the company's pontoon boat trailers and GameDay trailers.
* Moving the company to larger quarters, closer to the interstate system.
The company currently has one owner and 23 employees and has had gross sales of approximately $1 million since beginning operations December 18, 2006.
